adidas Forum Low “Taquería Orinoco” Joins the Adilicious City Pack

Adidas’ Adilicious series works to shine a light on iconic restaurants around the world, including Berlin’s Ø27, Shanghai’s Yanwai Restaurant, Dubai’s Ravi Restaurant, and Tokyo’s Bloody Angle Café with a variety of limited-edition sneaker silhouettes. The latest to be spotlighted from the creative project is Taquería Orinoco, a restaurant located in Mexico City. Known as a must-try late-night dining spot, the white-tiled restaurant hailing from Monterrey Mexico serves Northern-style tacos and fresh Agua frescas as well as a few specialty items including gringas, piratas, and banana ice cream.

The design of the Taquería Orinoco x adidas Forum Low takes inspiration from the shop’s red/white decor with predominately sail-white leather uppers, deep red inner lining, and the restaurant’s logo of an upside-down pig sandwiched in a tortilla positioned on the tongue tab and heel counter. Additional features include interchangeable laces displaying the different meats served at the Taquería and grille patterns incorporated on the medial midsole.

Look for Taquería Orinoco’s Forum Low to release via adidas CONFIRMED and select retailers in Mexico on November 17.
