CLOT’s Next Converse Pack Celebrates China’s National Mascot

Initially teased by founder Edison Chen, CLOT and Converse are reuniting for a loving “Panda” Pack. Representing togetherness, the collection pays homage to China’s national animal and the positivity that the bear signifies.

Crafted in honor of the country’s WWF International Panda Day, the duo keeps environmental preservation in its stride, aiming to highlight Mother Nature and the importance of protecting our planet.

The imprint takes two iconic Converse models and makes them its own, featuring the Chuck 70 Hi and Jack Purcell Ox decorated with fuzzy fur at every turn. Enhanced with Panda-like black-and-white hues, the latter’s outer layers see a thin-cut hairy finish, while the tongues boast a cozy terry cloth design. The sneaker is fashioned with suede liners and rear zippers for easy access. Traditional white toe caps and milky rubber sole units complete the pair on a glacial note, while black bottoms are stamped with contrasting paw prints.

The low-top Jack Purcell Ox receives a similar treatment yet dons tonal faux fur tongues that resemble the panda’s snug mane. Bright toe caps melt into the sole units that also see decorative touches. Finally, black and white laces arrive with every pair, mutually packaged in forest-printed boxes.

The CLOT x Converse “Panda” Pack is scheduled to drop on November 11 via JUICE locations worldwide. Prices for the sneakers range from $120 USD to $130 USD.

Elsewhere, Universal Works X HHV Berlin is a testament to borderless unions.
