ENGINEERED GARMENTS is adding to its ever-growing portfolio of footwear collaborations — with recent partners coming in the form of Reebok and KEEN — with its second-ever link-up with Finnish footwear specialist, Tarvas.
This latest collaboration between the pair marks the debut of the Tarvas Forest Bather silhouette with ENGINEERED GARMENTS designer, Daiki Suzuki, taking cues from his Nordic roots to produce a playful design that merges techincal hiking elements with contemporary and furry details.
The shoe’s upper features a pleasant mix of faux fur on the vamp, while suede covers the heel and mudguard around the entire upper. Furthermore, matching tone laces are introduced alongside non-slip sole touts, notched treads, and reflective detailing. Taking inspiration from the forests, lakes, and mountains of Scandinavia, the new Forest Bather has been designed to encourage long outdoor excursions and adventures.
You can take a closer look at the new ENGINEERED GARMENTS and Tarvas collaboration above and it is available on the official Nepenthes website and in its New York-based flagship store now.
Elsewhere in footwear, Jonathan Anderson has previewed JW Anderson x Wellipets frog shoes.
