Looking ahead to next year, early pairs from Jordan Brand have revealed the debut of two new themes. First, it is looking back on OG Air Jordan advertisements with Air Jordan 1 and 2 Low colorways that nod to print ads from the time. Secondly, “Lucky Green” has been spotted on the Air Jordan 1, 2 and now the 3.
In our first look at the pair, the Air Jordan 3 appears in a familiar presentation that features a white leather base joined by “Cement Grey,” “Sail” and “Varsity Red” to support the “Lucky Green” accents. The 3’s iconic elephant print arrives at the mudguard and heel counter while the off-white “Sail” color dresses the Air-infused midsole. A grey Jumpman logo arrives at the heel while a red one can be spotted at the tongue. As for its titular hue, the jolly green finds itself at the lacing system, hangtag and heel portion of the midsole, completing the look.
Currently, the Air Jordan 3 “Lucky Green” is expected to release on April 6 of next year at a $200 USD price point via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers. Stay tuned for official launch details and imagery via Nike in the coming weeks.
