For Nike and its Jordan Brand subsidiary, themes such as equality have played a key role in various colorways, events and initiatives throughout each year. In continuation of this, Jordan Brand has outfitted the Air Jordan 1 Low in a “Unity” colorway.
Landing in a lavender and off-white color scheme, this pair carries unique detailing that ranges from a special material composition to thematic graphics. Off-white hits the laces, midfoot base panel at the upper and midsole while various light purple hues cover the remainder of the shoe. As for materials, a leather base is joined by rough suede at the mudguard, lacing system and heel while corduroy lands on the collar and tongue. Looking closer at the “Unity” theme, the toe box reads “Because One Day This Day Will Be Our Everyday” with “Equality” and “Unity” text to the edges alongside flower and sun doodles in a golden yellow. This yellow also appears at the heel’s embroidered flower graphics and Jumpman logos.
A release date for the Air Jordan 1 Low “Unity” has not yet been announced. Look for it to hit shelves via Nike and select retailers worldwide in the coming months.
