Nickelodeon and Puma Reconnect for a New Playful “Slime” Collection

Following up on their recent collaboration on the PUMA MB.02 in “Slime,” Nickelodeon and PUMA have reconnected to present their latest collection — and this time, it’s a new PUMA Suede and PUMA Roma duo.

Since its debut on You Can’t Do That on Television in 1982, Nickelodeon’s Slime has become synonymous with the brand. Over the years, it has morphed into the ultimate symbol of free-spirited mess and it represents the physical embodiment of the cheeky and unconventional spirit of the Nickelodeon brand.

Now, the new Nickelodeon x PUMA “Slime” collection combines the T.V. station’s heritage with PUMA’s basketball history to present two playful takes on the classic Suede and Roma silhouettes. Both sneakers feature a “Neon Lime” patent formstrip, and they feature a dripping effect to mirror the consistency of Nickelodeon’s slime.

Furthermore, the tongue — which is coated in bright splatters — continues the playful transformation atop the Suede’s black foundations and the Roma’s overall white hue.

You can take a closer look at the new Nickelodeon x PUMA collaboration above and it will be available on the official PUMA website from December 21.
