Nike Is Releasing Its Cortez in a Clean “White/Black” Colorway

Nike has presented a brand-new iteration of its classic Cortez silhouette and this time, the sneaker has been dressed in a clean “White/Black” colorway.

The Cortez design has been one of the Swooshes’ most iconic styles for over 50 years now. For example, the sneaker has been dressed in a melange of color schemes such as the understated “1972” iteration, while it has also been revitalized through futuristic Sacai adaptations — and we’ve also seen the iconic red, white, and blue colorway run its way across America on the feet of Forrest Gump

Now, the sneaker arrives with elements of “Light Photo Blue” across the strip on the iconic serrated sole unit, while “NIKE” branding hits the sock-liner. Furthermore, the simple take on the model is also designed with a completely white leather base and it lays the foundations for a stealthy, blacked-out Swoosh to take over the lateral side.

You can take a closer look at the new Nike Cortez iteration above and it will be available via the official Nike website from February 9 for approximately $110 USD.
