The New Balance Rainier Gears up in “Raincloud” for a Softer Palette

New Balance is slowly re-introducing new clean iterations of its archived silhouettes for the winter rotation.

Bringing back the Rainier boots for the seasonal transition, New Balance has already revealed the muted cork and blue colorway. The shoe was originally rumored to only feature Aimé Leon Dore collaborations, but it is looking like New Balance is gearing up to release general colorways in 2023.

The latest New Balance Rainier offering sees a monochromatic, lavender-grey color scheme, also known as “Raincloud,” that hits the base with mesh underlays and shaggy suede overlays. The boot features leather heels and metal boot eyelets that sit atop a white midsole and brown-speckled Vibram rubber outsole, fit for the harsh winter weather. The speckled outsole is paired with the speckled grey rope shoelaces, giving the shoe an added sense of adventure.

Take a look above at the New Balance Rainier “Raincloud” colorway slated to arrive in select retailers and on New Balance on January 17, 2023 for $170 USD.

In case you missed it, the Jordan Two Trey arrives in a tan and linen colorway.
