Vans and Christopher RÆBURN Collaborate on Utilitarian-Inspired Capsule

East-London designer Christopher RÆBURN joins forces with notable footwear brand Vans for a head-to-toe capsule. Inspired by Raeburn’s ethos of creating functional garments crafted out of sustainable materials, this collaboration gives signature Vans silhouettes a utilitarian upgrade suited for unpredictable winter weather.

The range delivers functional updates to signature Vans silhouettes – the Sk8-Hi and Old Skool. Outfitted in camouflage, the reimagined Sk8-Hi features waterproof GORE-TEX coating on the outsole that keeps the footbed dry in unpredictable weather conditions. Inside the shoe is a VR3Crush footbed crafted with 25% biobased EVA foam derived from plants, which offers next level comfort. The rubber utilized for the VR3 Waffle outsole features 25% natural rubber. The Vans Old Skool silhouette features the same innovative and sustainable upgrades as the Sk8-Hi with both styles coming in a camouflage colorway and patchwork style.

Standouts from the apparel collection include the matching camouflage and all-black fleece tracksuit. Crafted with sherpa material, the track suit is crafted with 100% recycled polyester and features zippered pockets and ribbed elastic waist cuffs. Rounding off the collection is an array of T-shirts with the collaborative insignia of Vans and Raeburn embellished on the front. A utilitarian inspired rolltop backpack crafted from 100% nylon and two knitted beanies both display a camouflage colorway.

The Vans and RAEBURN collection will be available November 18 at Vans.com.
